We are pleased to welcome back Richard Lloyd-Evans, of Project Nestbox, who will be joining us once again to share his passion for helping nesting birds find a safe place to call home
Last year, he spoke to us as many of our birds were preparing to leave our shores for Africa. This time, the story comes full circle… as we welcome them back.
- Date: Sunday 24th May 2026
- Time: 3pm
- Venue: St Michael & All Angels Church, Lower Machen
- Booking: cwtcoedywerin@gmail.com
- Q&A cuppa & cake and a chance to meet Richard
Richard will be talking about those returning migrants now settling in, nesting and beginning to breed in the boxes he’s put in place.
He’ll also touch on the worrying decline in bird numbers, especially among these incredible travelling species and what it means for our skies and woodlands.
However, there is hope. Small, thoughtful actions can have a powerful impact, creating safe spaces for birds to return, settle, and raise their young
Come along, be part of the conversation, and see how small actions can have a big impact.
